Emily Edmonds, L Ac, MSOM, Dipl. Ac NCCAOM

Emily is a graduate with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California. Emily also has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and she spent several years working in the biofuels field, which included the construction of a biodiesel facility, before deciding to pursue traditional Chinese medicine. During the course of her studies at AIMC, she interned in China in 2013 with the First Teaching Hospital in Tianjin for patients rehabilitating from strokes. The hospital is featured in the documentary film, “9,000 Needles”.   She has also interned with the UCSF Benioff Children’s hospital at Mission Bay providing acupuncture treatments to the hospital staff. Additionally, she has done post-graduate training working with the UC Berkeley Athletics department treating sports injuries and orthopedic conditions with nearly fifty college athletes. Emily’s clinical focus is on orthopedics, autoimmune disorders, and endocrine disorders.
