Dear One,
It is winter time and I feel grateful for some needed rain.
Often during the winter, which relates to Kidney/Adrenals we experience lower energy and more inflammation or pain.
(In Chinese Medicine Stagnation and Dampness).
We are asked to take really good care of our body in the winter. This includes becoming aware of the food we eat, being aware to drink enough water, applying gentle exercise and movement to our body, as well as deep breath.

For pain and inflammation, we also have to address the liver and maybe add some turmeric. Since the winter is NOT a good time to detox, the best choice we have, is to eat simple, but nourishing foods to keep inflammation low and to nourish the kidneys. Simple sources of protein, ginger, omega 3 good oils, pineapple, etc.

Important to avoid inflammation is to avoid gluten, casein, bad oils, processed meats, fried foods, fast foods, syrups and soft drinks.

Instead we can add nuts, avocado, spinach, cherries, olive oil or another good source of oil, and yellow orange fruits and vegetables.
